Comview25

Comview25 pricing options are now available to help with budgeting and planning. The program will include key industry representation from organisations such as the RBA, Victorian Courts, The Productivity Commission, AI in Education, Melbourne Airport and a great mix of teacher led sessions.  
Comview25 details include:
Date: Monday 24 & Tuesday 25 November
Time: 8:45am - 3:45pm, both days
Location: The University of Melbourne, The Spot & FBE Building.

Deakin University - Preservice Teacher Placements for Term 3 & 4

Deakin University has several pre-service teacher placements to fill with many students in their final year of study and therefore requiring a placement to graduate.  If you can help the University is looking for placements in the following locations:

Box Hill, Wyndham Vale, Port Melbourne, Wantirna South, Cranbourne East, Narre Warren, Officer, Keysborough, Elsternwick, Blackburn South, Highton and other various locations in these proximities. 

Placements are sought for VCE Accounting, Business Management, Economics and Years 7 - 10 classes and include weeks in August and October.

Young People's Legal Rights Centre

Youth Law offers free legal advice across Victoria to any person under the age of 25. To access the resources or to visit one of their centres in Melbourne or Ballarat please access the website, or email Beth King who is the Youth Law Education & Training Lawyer.  Beth can also assist in setting up information sessions for schools. 

Victorian Law Foundation - updated resources

The VLF have released new resources for VCE Legal Studies students and teachers relating to The Mabo Case and The Franklin Dam Case in collaboration with Dr Bryan Keon-Cohen AM KC. Please make use of these resources in your classes as needed.

ATO - Tax, Super + You - Competition

The ATO's annual competition is open for registrations until Friday 5 September. Empower your students to learn about tax and super in an engaging and fun way whilst building their entry for the competition. Great prizes are available for both the winning students and their schools.

The latest RBA Chart Pack, published earlier this month, is now available from their website. 

The Victorian Law Reform Commission

The VLF offer in person and online law talks to students. To book your student talk, please contact the VLF via their website
