Calling all NEW Teachers to VCE Accounting, Business Management, Economics, and Legal Studies
- Empowering Commerce Educators: Building Your VCE Toolkit, (formally known as From Surviving to Thriving in VCE), empowers teachers with ideas and resources in Unit 1 and/or Unit 3 to build confidence and excel in their own classroom. Presented by skilled experts in each subject, attendees will receive lesson ideas and assessment options that are easy to implement straight away. Places are limited to 100 participants across all four subject areas. Please note, that this event is repeated on Saturday 14 June for Units 2 & 4.
Register Now: Saturday 22 February (Unit 1 and/or Unit 3) at the Treacy Centre, Parkville.

Would you like to know how students performed in the 2024 VCE exams to help shape your 2025 year?
- Reviewing Student Performance in the 2024 VCE Exams, is a series of online webinars from VCAA examination panel members. Each presenter will offer their expert advice, highlighting strong and weak responses to questions, and offer hints and tips to help improve you teaching in 2025. Webinars can be viewed live and are made available to all registered participants through to the end of the year.
Register Now: Monday 3 March - Thursday 6 March (various subjects). All registrations will receive access to the webinar after the event.

To help members receive and contribute VCTA news and event information in a timely and efficient method, we are committing to the delivery of information via alternative channels which from this year will include:

The VCTA Weekly Updates will continue to be delivered to your inbox each Monday morning throughout Victorian Government school terms. Members can manage their email communication preferences through My Account on the VCTA website.
- The VCTA Website
The Weekly Update will posted into the 'News' section of the VCTA Homepage each week. To access this, scroll down the Homepage until you have located the VCTA News and Community News sections. The three most recent Weekly Updates will be posted on the Homepage in reverse chronological order. Likewise for any Community News.
- LinkedIn & Facebook
VCTA Staff will share important news, updates and resources, via our LinkedIn and Facebook pages. We encourage members to follow and engage with us on these social media platforms and tag us if you create a social media post at one of our events.

National Schools Constitutional Convention - NSCC
The NSCC is in its 30th year and this year the event will be held in Canberra from Tuesday 25 to Thursday 27 March. Expressions of Interest for all Victorian School students who would like to attend close on Wednesday 5 February. Please note, NSCC is fully funded by the Federal Department of Education and covers all costs associated with transport, accommodation and catering. Visit the NSCC website for further information.
