VCTA Resource Shop is Expanding

Are you looking to save lesson preparation time without compromising on quality?

The VCTA Online Resource Shop is growing and is now offering a range of classroom-ready materials designed to support and inspire both you and your students.

Explore a collection of expertly developed resources, including:

  • ready-made, fully editable lesson packs for Years 7 & 8 and for Years 9 & 10, available in both digital and print formats, designed to reduce preparation time and enhance classroom delivery,
  • past professional learning resources from selected events,
  • and Coming Soon Unit 3 Trial Exams with fully worked solutions for Accounting, Business Management, Economics and Legal Studies.

Professional Learning

Geelong and surrounds: VCE Assessment workshop day.

Monday 11 May, Geelong

Join us for a full day workshop to help guide you in creating assessment tasks to meet study design standards including the use of structured questions, media analysis, blog posts, debates and/or case studies. The day is interactive as you work with VCTA staff and other teachers to develop a range of skills to help you deliver VCAA compliant SACs that you can easily authenticate when students are being assessed. Opportunities will be provided to network with other teachers too. Please note, that this day requires a minimum of 10 participants.

Empowering Commerce Educators: Building Your VCE Toolkit for Units 2 & 4.

Friday 5 June, Docklands

This program will provide attendees with ideas and resources to use in the classroom and is designed for those in their first few years of teaching:

Would you like to contribute to VCTA through our Subject Advisory Groups?

The Groups meet once per term, online and in person to share thoughts, provide feedback on programs and contribute to the direction of VCTA. Our next meeting is in person, on Wednesday 29 April starting at 5:00pm at Canterbury Girls' Secondary College.

Save the Date! The VLF and Law Week is Coming to Bendigo!

As part of Victorian Law Week 2026 the Victoria Law Foundation will berunning Bendigo Law Talks on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 May.

This free two-day program is aimed at Year 11 and Year 12 Legal Studies students and will include a visit to the Bendigo Courts and a talk by a County Court judge as well as the Juries Commissioner. There will also be presentations by Young Workers Centre, Victorian Law Reform Commission, the Victoria Ombudsman, Arc Justice and / Victoria Legal Aid. The talks cover a range of topics relevant to the curriculum and young people’s legal rights and responsibilities.
