This two-day event will feature more than 100 sessions, including workshops, lectures, excursions, and networking opportunities designed to inspire and support teachers across all commerce disciplines.

VCTA Subject Specific Resources

Did you know that VCTA provides comprehensive lists of classroom resources that are freely available from Australia-wide organisations for teachers to use in the classroom?
The lists contain information that is vetted by VCTA for accuracy and includes activities and supporting materials for:

Parliament of Victoria (PoV)

PoV is offering a free online professional development event today at 4:30pm to help teachers write their own classroom case studies using parliamentary reports. 

In addition, The Parliament Prize for students is now open. Entries close at 5:00pm on Friday 13 June.  


Victorian Law Week - is on now!

Celebrate all things law by getting involved in Victorian Law Week. To see the full list of what is happening around the State check out the program.

Ecstra - Financial Education in Schools: (Tomorrow) Tuesday 20 May, 12:30pm

The Ecstra Foundation's national financial education in schools survey results will be presented later this month via an online webinar.

Join the webinar to hear how young Australians are learning about money, what topics they want to understand better and teacher and parent views on the effectiveness of financial education.


RBA Economics Careers

The RBA has created a new resource page showcasing careers in economics. The resources include videos, posters and information to use with students in your classrooms and with potential students who may be considering a career in economics.


Civics - free professional learning: Friday 6 June

The Victorian Electoral Commission is offering a free professional learning day for teachers of Years 5 - 10. The day offers time to learn and connect, share ideas and access resources to help you become a civics specialist in your school.
