VCTA's new look Website and Database

Late last term the VCTA team implemented the new VCTA Member Website and Database.  If you have not yet logged into the new system please take the opportunity to do so.  The instructions showing all members how to use the new website and database for the first time are located on the VCTA website homepage.

VCTA Events including COMVIEW

  • Comview24 has launched and registrations are now open
    Comview24 includes over 90 educational sessions across five subject disciplines with 100+ presentations and site visits on offer. Sessions range from workshops to excursions, lectures to interactive experiences and more.

Victorian Schools' Parliamentary Convention for Teachers

Funded by the Victorian Department of Education, this FREE one-day Convention is designed to support the professional learning of civics and citizenship for educators.  Participants will be provided with training to support them to run their own student parliaments within a classroom or school setting and will have the opportunity to network with likeminded professionals. The program will also include a model of the successful student Convention run at Parliament of Victoria and civics curriculum updates.

Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA)

The RBA has released a new chart pack dated 25 September 2024. In addition, the RBA has produced a student-friendly video to help with understanding the latest Statement on Monetary Policy.
